I have always been in awe of the night sky. The stars, constellations, and planets hold a feeling of wonder that has been ever present, not only in my life, but throughout human history. Many cultures have their own myths and legends associated with the night sky. To me, the planets and patterns of stars represent more than just scientific objects - they are a window into a rich history of human storytelling and imagination.

This series of photographs attempts to illustrate and personify a number of classical Greek and Roman myths associated with our constellations and planets. Many constellations hold a unique myth surrounding their placement in the sky, and the planets are named after the Roman Gods with their own history and legends.

My hope is that viewers will not only see the beauty in these celestial bodies, but also feel a connection to the stories that have been passed down through ages and generations
